BEVEL SIDING

These siding pieces are produced by sawing lumber at an angle to produce two pieces thicker one one edge than the other. The manufacturing process results with one face having a rough texture and the other side having a smooth or textured side depending on the grade of wood chosen. When installed it gives and attractive shadow line which varies in thickness.

BOARD & CHANNEL SIDING

This vertical design is created by using wide, clear or knotty, clear cedar boards spaced apart with narrower boards covering the joints. This look is not set to specific measurements and is widely versatile; suitable for small or large scale applications. Rough, unseasoned boards are commonly used for board and channel siding. Ranging in size from 1 x 2 in. to 1 x 12 in.

BATTEN SIDING

One of our most popular styles of lapping siding used to achieve a rustic appearance. Installed vertically, horizontal, or diagonally, the profile of each board partially overlaps that of the next board next to it. This creates a channel that gives shadow line effects. Not only does it provide excellent weather protection, but it also allows for dimensional movement. Channel siding is often supplied in unseasoned, knotty grades. Most popular sizes include 1 x 6 in., 1 x 8 in. and 1 x 10 in.

TONGUE & GROOVE

WFP Cedar is most known for their popular tongue & groove siding. This is a type of siding in which a projecting rib on the edge of one board fits into a groove in the edge of an adjacent board. Most commonly used for siding, ceilings, soffits and interior walls.

Popular for its versatility and polished look, tongue & groove siding is a common choice for those searching for a modern appeal. The pattern can be installed horizontally, vertically or diagonally, each providing a distinctly different look. Not to mention the compact construction provides a water resistant barrier.

The joints between adjoining pieces are usually V-shaped, but flush-jointed. We are also able to provide reveal and radius joints to your construction site. This variety of joints and surface textures offer a range of shadow line effects that enhance the versatility of the tongue & groove siding.

Though we are happy to provide you with tongue & groove siding created from any grade of wood, there are a few things to consider when choosing your ideal lumber. Most people prefer to construct with a clear grade suitable for a more formal atmosphere, giving an elegant appearance, particularly when pieces are smooth faced. Though knotty grades are also popular for their unique character and intricate detail that showcases the wood’s natural textures and grains.
