Cedar Shakes & Shingles
Elevated Innovations
It is hard to beat the unmatched quality and durability of a building with western red cedar for shakes, shingles and exterior walls. Our clients are able to choose between hand application or use our state-of-the-art panelized shingle system. This system allows a personalized, custom design that matches that of hand laid shingles. Either way, our clients are able to hand choose the shingles/shakes that will all be prefinished.
Our specialized panel machine is an innovative way to apply cedar shingles of all shapes and designs quickly and economically with its patented cedar shingle panels system. Its panels provide the unique, hand-crafted appearance because they are clear, vertical grain cedar sawn into tapered shaped shingles. The shingles are individually laid up by hand with real keyways and thick butts for bold shadow lines and the classic shingle look. This state-of-the-art machine also allows for a radius flare. Our panel system happens to be one of the only on the market certified to withstand winds up to 183 mph.
WOOD GRADES AVAILABLE

Select Knotty
Knots and other natural features define the visual character of knotty sidings. Knots are sound and tight; available rough or dressed, kiln-dried or unseasoned and smooth or saw textured.

KDAT is a drying process that occurs after pressure treating wood. Once the lumber is pressure treated with chemicals, kiln drying removes excess moisture and chemicals left behind to help minimize the natural tendencies of wood to warp, cup and shrink. This allows for immediate application of multiple layers of finishing.
